Jared McMurray began his music studies at the Cape Cod Conservatory in 1988 with Noel Tipton. Following an education in piano performance and composition, Jared was invited to play at the first annual Franz Liszt festival in Rio de Janeiro by his teacher, Brazilian pianist Luiz de Moura Castro. Jared is a native of Cotuit and a member of Cotuit Center for the Arts' Board of Directors.
