Klarinetista & Friends at the Eastham Library Dedication Concert - Gregory S. Turner Meeting Room Sat, February 11th, 2017 1:00 pm - 2:00pm Please join the newly built Eastham Library for an exciting and entertaining afternoon of classical music with these highly talented Cape Cod artists: Monika Woods, Clarinet Elizabeth Tipton, Piano Mónika and Elizabeth met in 2014 Fall, through their mutual friendship with local musician Deborah Geithner, and share a passion for unearthing classical music's more quirky and idiosyncratic pieces. Elizabeth Tipton has graduate degrees in performance from the Juilliard School of Music with post graduate work at Columbia Teachers College in N.Y.C. She has performed extensively as a soloist, in chamber music ensembles and as a collaborative pianist. She is on the faculty of the Cape Cod Conservatory of Music and Art in Falmouth. Transylvanian born clarinetist, Mónika Woods received her musical training at the prestigiuos Gh. Dima Music Academy, where she graduated with high honors and a Masters in Stylistics of Clarinet Performance. Monika Woods, has been featured by Cape Symphony, Chatham Chorale, among others. She is founder of Open Mic Classical, and teaches at her studio in Brewster. This event is free and all are encouraged to attend!
